Runnymede’s President, Andrew Fine, has been active in commercial real estate in the Hampton Roads area since 1956. With an extensive background in business development and community interests, Mr. Fine has differentiated himself as a leader and dedicated businessman. He was a Founding Director of both Commerce Bank and TowneBank, is a member of the Virginia State Bar Association, and served as the Rector at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He also enjoys giving back to the community in which he lives and works through involvement with such organizations as The Chrysler Museum of Art, WHRO Public Telecommunications and the co-chairman of The Lynnhaven River 2007 Project.
Runnymede's CEO, Michael J. Barrett, has been with the company since 1986. He has made many contributions to both the business and community sectors of Hampton Roads. He has served as Chairman/President of the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, the Hampton Roads Association of Commercial Real estate, the Hampton Roads Economic Development Alliance, and Virginia Beach Vision. He has served the community as a member of the Board of SPSA, the Hampton Roads Soccer Council, serving at its first President, the Contemporary Art Center of Virginia (now MOCA of Virginia), the Sorensen Institute of Political Leadership, and the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival, among others. He has been honored as the First Citizen of Virginia Beach, and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from Volunteer Hampton Roads.
